New Year started with a good news! Maddie's paper got selected as cover article for January 2024 issue on American Journal of Physiology Heart and Circulatory Physiology. Congrats team!

Our summer intern Kaila Reyes was awarded the Best Poster Prize at the 2023 Research Internship Poster Symposium and Ceremony held at at the OHSU Knight Cancer Research Building (KCRB). Congrats Kaila!

We said goodbye to our amazing research assistant Temerity Bauer, B.S., who is starting her M.D. journey at UC Davis. All the best Temerity!

November 2022

We are excited to announce new funding from NEI for our ocular pain research project. This will be a collaborative research project with Morgans Lab at OHSU and Largent-Milnes Lab at University of Arizona to study mechanisms of pain and photophobia in migraine and dry eye. Congratulations to Sue, Catherine & Tally for receiving the grant and being part of ASI ocular surface innervation consortia.
